Without fully analyzing the well here, I can’t say there aren’t chemical residues in it, and don’t know how they might affect the product.
Most essential oils have antibacterial properties, and some in the BUG SCREEN blend are known to be powerful antimicrobials. It’s within imagining that the DIY concentrate could be mixed with stream or river water.
The effect of chlorine or other water treatments on the effectiveness of essential oils is unknown.
